I have all my fabrics and patterns loaded. Most of the crashing has disappeared except for pattern companies. You cant download the yardage info because the pattern companies do not provide it. Could use some improvement on Projects. Good app but could be better

Needs to have way to put in yardage in fractions as well as decimals. Also would like the back yardage pic as well.

A great application that solves a lot of the "I am in the store and I cant remember how many yards, etc" dilemma. It is one of the best task specific organizational pieces of software Ive encountered in a while. The developer is very responsive and promises to keep listening and providing updates. things that are a bit irksome: 1)The fabrics list is scant. Ive entered my first hundred patterns and Ive nearly quadrupled the fabrics list. It would be nice if the initial list were more robust. 2)Too many steps to enter the patterns recommended fabric list. 3)Many patterns have multiple images. There is no way to choose which is the primary image to display. 4)Vogue has standard categories listed on the pattern envelope that indicate level of expertise; these terms should be included in the list of terms to describe how easy or difficult the pattern is to execute. 5) the categories list should be more complete. Suits and vests are standard clothing. 6) Backup is a big concern. That said I am glad to own it and look forward to a true I Pad version. Update: Ive entered nearly 300 patterns and 1) entering yardage is useless. You cannot enter fractions or widths for the fabric 2) updates appear to fix technical issues, but not feature or design issues 3) there is a backup procedure I am less enthused that I was initially, but have no regrets about the purchase

This app makes shopping and planning a project very easy, however, the initial work is tedious and time consuming to add all your patterns. Imagine going into a fabric store and having access to all your patterns, fabrics, and notions. That is what this app can store for you, but first must be input by you. Simplicity patterns information, including photos, and pattern information, all automatically are added, the newer other big pattern companies only add the photos. That means all pattern back information, photos of older patterns, and other pattern companies that are not either Simplicity, Vogue, McCalls, or Butterick have to be input, photos taken and added of pictures and back of patterns; as well as photos of fabrics, and notions, etc. This is time consuming, but worth the effort, saving money and time later by assuring all the necessary items are available for your project. This also will force the sewer to get organized, which is why this is app is obtained to begin with. Highly recommended. I entered most of my patterns (over 500) with no problems, however, now I am unable to add new pattern companies for some reason. I just put them all in one area and will correct it later when the software company fixes this issue. I love this app!

This gives me the ability to organize. I love that I can take thiswith me to the fabric store and if I see a material I love, I can check if one of my patterns will suit it or if I should look for a new one. Do I already have a pattern that is similar to that one? What would be great in the future is to include pictures or upload information from the pattern regarding recommended fabrics per size, notions, etc.

This is the first app I have ever paid for and it has been well worth it! I love that I can keep track of patterns AND fabric without having to buy another app. All in one is the way to go. I used to pay $5 a month for a pattern organizer service but found I wasnt using it so I got SewingKit instead. Love it!

This work far better than my pencil and paper method. Love being able to at least have my patterns listed someplace easier to access. Shopping is much easier, no more duplicates.

This App has the potential of being great, but since the last update I can no longer "add a new pattern company." I cant find a "contact"option to send info to the creators.

I love this app. It has a lot of info that can be put with each pattern and the pictures it brings from the pattern companies are great. I used to make copies of all my patterns but now I can have it all on my iPad, thanks, having trouble adding pattern companies, it keeps crashing

"pattern companies" still crashes. Thinking about upgrading to HD, but what a pricey app. Why dont you have a sale or something. This is the most expensive app I own & it crashes the most!

...it had access to the camera! A lot of my patterns are vintage and you cannot get the correct images, so in my case, you could take a pic! Other than that I dig it!!!

Love this app. I love having all my patterns, fabric yardages, and measurements in one place. When Im In the fabric store, I can quickly see what I need without having to write notes. Only thing I would change is to allow ability to type info into yardage space to reflect different views and yardage width. Currently have to put that in notes area. Also all info in app needs to be portable to a new phone. I sure dont want to have to re-enter 100 patterns again!

This is a handy app to keep with if you are in the habit, like me, of collecting patterns. It came along at a good time when I was trying to type all this info in to my Notes. This app gives it structure. The Lite version is pretty useless. Improvements I would make: (1) when selecting fabrics identified on a pattern envelope, you ought to be able to select all the fabrics at one time instead of selecting and saving to your pattern data and then going back to the list of fabrics for the next fabric--very tedious and very time consuming, (2) when selecting pattern company, only the basics are listed, and there is no way to add another pattern company--this needs to be changed, (3) suddenly, I can no longer add photos of the envelope front to the app--I can select "Add New" (photo), but it does not give me the ability to post the photo any more.

Great at keeping me focused. Update 11/13: No longer allows me to upload photos of patterns. This was a really good feature that is now lost.

Why am I unable to add images? When I try to retrieve images through Settings it crashes every time. Frustrating for an app of this price.

I love it! Just wish there was a connection from the phone/iPod to the computer. Other than that, its great!!

I love this app! My only complaint so far is that some main pattern companies are missing - like New Look.

I use this all the time to keep track of my patterns. It has saved me $$$ because I dont buy duplicates anymore.

This app would be great if it worked properly/as advertised. It crashes and freezes constantly: when attempting to scan a bar code, itll scan and crash or just crash, and when I try and select "My Inventory" are just a few crash times. When attempting to take a picture to add to a pattern the screen will often just freeze after adding about 3 patterns. Id like my money back as Im not receiving the service I paid for.

If I could give this App no stars I would. Crashes when trying to scan patterns. Does not work. I rarely buy Apps and am disappointed that I bought this!!!
