Now scan the pattern envelope while in the store to look it up, and add it if you dont have it!
Sewing Kit lets you search through all of your patterns, fabrics, projects, and people to make sure you are not buying something twice, or getting home and finding out you forgot to get something you really needed!
With Sewing Kit you can store and search on all of your:

All of these things, all in one place.
Features:
For Patterns, each entry has: company name, pattern number, size, brand, your own rating of it, where you are storing it, “unlimited” photos, “unlimited” notions, “unlimited” types of fabrics, and much more!!!
Also - for each pattern from Butterick, Kwik Sew, McCall’s, Neue Mode, Simplicity or Vogue, Sewing Kit will _try_ to download the envelope images (including the back panel) if they are available on the company’s public web site (Butterick usually requires a "B" as the first digit in the pattern number for this to work, "M" for McCalls, and "V" for Vogue). Not all images are available. Not all sites have the back panel image available. All images remain copyright of their respective web sites.
For Fabrics, each entry has: name, color, material, amount, been ironed?, been washed?, where you bought it, where it’s stored, “unlimited” photos, and more!
For Projects, each entry has: name, who its for, notes, “unlimited” photos, pattern being used, status, type, and more!
For People, each entry has: person’s name, “unlimited” photos, and “unlimited” measurements!
Sewing Kit is also highly customizable! You can manage your own list of Pattern Companies, Fabric Types, Notion Types, Ratings, Measurements, and more!
Sewing Kit has been localized into English, Spanish, and French! Let us know if there are other languages you would like to see Sewing Kit in.

Sewing Kit app good for
I love this app, it has everything I need as a seamstress! After entering basic pattern info it will search the website of that pattern company, and download all the pattern pictures, and even sewing instructions, depending on the pattern company. On my iPhone, I can take pictures of fabrics in my stash and download them into the app, then enter information about the fabric, like where I bought it, how many meters I have, how much I paid for it and what I plan to do with it, etc.
Awesome app well worth the money!
I love it! I havent had problems with it crashing. It is a great way to be reminded of all the patterns in your collection when you happen upon a great piece of fabric - and lets you know how much you will need. Nice to know data can be exported to use in second device!
I like being able to carry all my pattern information with me when I shop, but I wish you could add multiple categories per pattern - sometimes they include skirt and pants, or skirt and top, or skirt and dress or...you get the idea. I love that it can download pictures from the major pattern companies. Like others, I have continual problems with crashes - when taking photos, when adding too many patterns at once, when adding too much information on patterns at once. I understand theres a great new version coming in Jan - I hope its an upgrade and not a whole new purchase since I just bought this one - which is pricey for what it does and the continual crashes.
I do both garment seeing & quilting. This app doesnt support the multi-fabrics & multi-lengths required for a quilt. I had really hoped I would have one app for both garments AND quilting; not so :(
I love this app. I can carry all of my patterns with me when Im out shopping in case I see some fabric I like. And I can pick up the necessary notions at the same time. I even used it to buy fabric for a couple of dresses when I was in Barbados last year. Very handy.
I like this app a lot but it does crash quite a bit and it could use to be notified into categories and sub categories . I love that all my patterns and fabrics are neatly organized into one app :)

Some bad moments
Does not work! Do not buy! Totally useless as it crashes upon taking a picture of fabric (whole point). I want my money back. Ive bought lots if apps and have loved them. This app is a scam.
This app isnt worth the money. Its very poorly written and obviously not tested, numerous features either dont work or crash the application. Very disappointed with this app.
Very disappointed! I cant load pictures of patterns. That was the whole reason why I chose this app. I need a refund!
Every time I attempt to use the barcode scan feature, the app crashes. Tried to find the "help" section in this app to report and couldnt find it. Not very helpful.
This app has been a big help in getting me orgainized. Now I have all the information about whats in my stash at my fingertips. No more guessing when I run across a fabric store. Yes, it could be improved, but I find it very useful as is.
Although there are a couple of tiny things I would change, this is definitely worth the money. The organization & cataloging ability is my go to app for everything sewing. Thank you & I look forward to the updates!
